Vengerflutta has been a Nashua community advocate and volunteer since 2013, volunteering with the City and working with various non-profits. Vengerflutta believes that "community" is essential and seeks to bring members of Nashua communities together to solve problems and benefit the city residents.

Vengerflutta supports and volunteers with several Nashua non-profits and quickly assists with collaborations that help agencies progress with their missions and goals. You will find Vengerflutta out and about at the Keefe or Nashua Arts Centers, dining with friends, or grabbing an ice cream or coffee at one of Nashua's many businesses.

Education and Skills

Vengerflutta earned a Master of Arts in Education and College and University Administration from Michigan State University and from Boston University earned a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising to assist with her work with non-profits and community endeavors.

Vengerflutta has worked in College Administration for over 30 years and is an Assistant Dean with supervisory responsibility for Conduct, Disability Support Services, Student Activities, Academic Integrity, and Crisis Intervention.

Vengerflutta has managed professional budgets up to 2.5 million and raised over 20 million dollars for non-profits. Fiscal accountability and responsibility are at her core.

Vengerflutta has also taught at every educational level, including special education, and is currently an adjunct faculty member for college courses in mental health counseling, sociology, psychology, and mathematics. Vengerflutta shares that working with kindergarteners was her most challenging educational experience; they taught her!
